Enthralled by all the kids playing on the toys

Pointing out all the facinating things going on

More pointing...

Geez mom, if you hadn't put so many damn layers on me I could probably get up on my own!

She poker her finger in that hole (filled with water of course) 20 plus times...probably the highlight of her day.

This is what Anna looks like when she poops her pants...look at that concentration. :)
What a fun family day we had today! It started off with a sleep in for mama (glorious)...around 9:00 I was awaken by the sounds of my little angel squealing and giggling with daddy downstairs. I instantly felt like I was missing out so I went down to join in the fun. Anna is always so happy to see me and I must say it is the best feeling in the world. I walked into the room and her face just lit up. Enter, warm fuzzy feeling. We played for an hour or so until it was time for the bear to take her morning nap. Once she woke up and we got her dressed and fed, it was time for a little lunch out for us...this is mommy and daddy's cheat day and pizza was calling our names! After a delicious lunch at Farelli's (where Anna managed to ham it up for everyone there) we took her to a park near our house.
I thought for sure she would want to play on the toys and go down the little slide, but she was MUCH more interested in staying on the sidewalk and watching the other kids play. She would squeal when they would and clap her hands. Too cute. :) She was also very interested in trying to peel old solidified gum off the path as well as play in storm water that had accumulated in little holes. Very interesting stuff! She had no interest in walking in the bark or on the grass...she stuck to the cement paths and covered picnic area. :) She's been wearing her first pair of hard soled shoes for this past week so she's a little wobblier in those, so maybe she didn't like the uneven ground.
The girl LOVES being outside though. I think she's going to want to live outside this summer. Kathy (our daycare gal) said that Anna was always the first to go outside and the last to want to come in last week (we had some gorgeous sunny days). This the really the first time she's gotten to explore the outside world, now that she's a little older and walking, so she's discovering all sorts of new things. We love watching her grow!
