Well, this update is long overdue. What can I say besides, I'm a busy, working mama who is on the computer all day at work (not doing fun things unfortunately) and so that's the last thing I want to do when I get home. Especially when I have my bear and my papa bear waiting for me! :)

At any rate, I will try to be better about keeping this updated at least weekly. So, we are already half way done with this week which I love! I love three day weekends for that exact reason. We spent our extended weekend in Yakima after I found out Sara and her family were going to be in town. I called her up and asked if we could meet them there and crash the party and she said come on over! :) It just so happened that my parents had made plans to be in Yakima that weekend as well to visit family so we got to see lots of people. It was a fabulous weekend with the exception of a sickness on my behalf. I started not feeling quite like myself on Saturday and by that night I felt like the flu was kicking my butt. I got to bed early and got a good night's sleep and woke up with no more flu symptoms...instead I had hugely swollen glands and a terrbily sore throat. I went to the dr. to see if I had strep and thankfully I did not. Just a viral thing she said. Pain reliever seemed to ward off most of the pain, but it still sucked...I tried not to get too close to anyone over the weekend and I just pray that I didn't get anyone sick.

We stayed at my Aunt Karen and Uncle Rick's house which is where my parents stayed as well. We hung out with Sara and her family all day on Saturday which was a blast! I have missed them dearly and it was wonderful to visit and catch up and to see her three darling kids again. They are so cute and I will do whatever necessary to make sure Anna marries Dane, their youngest...he's only a month younger than Anna. Although, that might be weird for her to marry a man with the same name as her dad. Hmm...we might have to re-think this. Maybe she'll marry Nathan...he's only about a year and a half older. :) We then headed to my aunt and uncle's late that afternoon for a family dinner. My grandma was there which was great and we just sat around and ate and visited and played with Anna. She was such a trooper for the weekend and performed quite nicely. :) Sunday, we headed back to Sara's house for another couple of hours and then went to my grandma and grandpa's house for a nice dinner before we came home (we choose to travel at night so Anna can sleep...excellent choice on our part!). They loved seeing Anna and thought she is just a beautiful little girl. Who am I to argue?

We didn't get home until about 11:30 Sunday night and then Monday (my day off) we had Dane's family over for his birthday celebration. He turned the big 3-2 on the 13th so we had some serious celebrating to do. :) We made bbq'd hamburgers and played Wii and just had a great time. The kids had a great time playing together and we even held a dance party toward the end of the day. Our nephew Cole has some pretty hip dance moves! It was a VERY packed weekend and we are still trying to recover from it...I told Dane I needed a day off to recover from the weekend!

On that note I am headed to bed...it's only 9:30 and that is glorious to me! Isn't my daughter adorable?
